Introduction. Currently in the world there are conducted numerous studies on the search for biomarkers associated with increased risk of coronary heart disease (CHD). The aim of the study. The study of the levels of such inflammatory biomarkers as the tumor necrosis factor (TNFα), interleukin (IL1β, IL6, IL8), C-reactive protein (СRP) and homocysteine and sulfated glycosaminoglycans (sGAG) in the blood of men with coronary atherosclerosis and without coronary artery disease. Methods. Age of men included in the study, was 46–79 years. The blood was collected once in the morning on an empty stomach.
