Introduction. Skin melanoma is referred to hormone-dependent tumors, the mechanism of influence of endocrine factors on pathogenesis of the tumor, however, has not been determined so far The aim of the study. The studying of the level of steroid hormones, prolactin, and sex-steroid binding globulin (SBG) in the tissue of melanoma, its perifocal area and resection line, depending on the stage of the process. Methods. Local content of sex hormones, prolactin and SSG was studied by ELISA method in the tumor tissue of melanoma, perifocal area and resection line depending on the stage of the process in patients of both sexes, aged 55,4±2,7 years. Results. The abrupt rise of the levels of estrone and prolactin depending on the stage of the disease as well as imbalance of androgens was found in the tumor tissue. Changes of local steroidogenesis in the perifocal area of melanoma were registered at stages рТ3-4N0-ХM0, unlike in the perifocal area at stage рТ1-2N0M0. As the disease progresses, the tissue along the resection line loses signs of the local hormonogenesis characteristic of the intact tissue. Conclusion. Melanoma tissue is supposed to be transitted to autocrine/paracrine way of regulating its own growth at later stages, which renders it independent from the control of the immune and neuro-endocrine system of the organism and gives it the prevalence in proliferation.
