The results of biodistribution of intravenously administrated 188Re-zoledronic acid in rats’ body on the model of bone lesions (callus) are presented. Experiments showed that the complex of 188Re-zoledronic acid has the bone-seeking distribution (up to 31,8% ID/skeleton) and high rate of excretion (after 3 hours 60,4% ID is excreted). In this case, the rate of accumulation of the drug in the created field of bone pathology in the animal is 3,0 times more if compared with the rate of its accumulation in the healthy bone, and the effective half-life (Teff.) is equal to 7,86 h. The results give the reason to talk about the prospects of 188Re-zoledronic acid for treatment of bone disease, accompanied by remodeling of the bone tissue, including skeletal metastases.
